FLAME®

There are three main phases in the epic journey of a hero as described by Joseph Campbell:

The Call – You know there is something bigger or better out there but have no idea what it is. You feel the pull towards it, but you’re unsure and hesitate. There is an unanswered question reverberating through your consciousness and you are becoming feverish with desire and anticipation. The emptiness you feel is growing and becoming unbearable. You’re on the edge of a precipice staring into the void. You leap where so many others withdraw, and you fall into the chaos that precedes a new beginning.

The Belly of The Whale – Having answered the call for adventure, for discovery and for more, the hero endures the trials and tribulations, the discomfort and pain that comes with growing. The hero’s commitment and determination are tested, he or she must endure and persist through this stage for it is here that the greatest lessons are learnt, but it is also here where most give up. The Hero intrinsically knows that it is here that the metamorphosis begins.

The Return – The third stage represents the return to who you are, the return to your natural state. The return to wholeness. Energised, focused, centered and purposeful the Hero moves through life embodying and embracing his/her true nature. Life is once again a possibility, until a new call is heard because it is once again time to move forward.

In completing the OSW you have moved through these three phases and made the return to yourself.

However, because life is never about complacency and maintaining the status quo, another journey must begin. Another Call always follows the Return and it is time to begin the process of evolution once more.

FLAME® is designed to be a conduit to once more facilitate that process.

The FLAME® workshop represents the next step in your evolution. It is the follow up to The Optimal State Workshop and builds on the concepts covered so far as well as to introduce many others that will challenge your thinking and your ideas about what is possible in every aspect of your life.

Flow

Being in a state of Flow is being at the pinnacle of creativity where you are in sync with your environment and everyone within it. It is a temporary state that some people access more by accident than design, and paradoxically where your intent and endeavor to reach it, makes it completely inaccessible. On FLAME® you will learn the basis of what a flow state is, how it can benefit you and practical techniques to access it more consistently.

Leadership/Learning

The concept of leadership has become ubiquitous and somewhat clichéd in the last few years, and still many, including current leaders, do not understand its most basic tenets. FLAME® will provide a new perspective on this concept from a global sense right down to leadership on an individual basis.
The key to growing as a human being is intrinsically linked to being able to learn. Being able to learn effectively is a product of knowing how to access a learning state. For far too long formal learning has been in the exclusive domain of the mind, negating other intrinsic components to cellular learning. FLAME® will explore the process of immersion and presence as vital components to whole body learning giving you techniques to enhance your ability to learn.

Awareness

Your ability to perceive reality beyond your own projections will be greatly enhanced when we delve into the state of heightened awareness. The statement, “We don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are” will become the backdrop of exploration into how we constantly create the world we perceive. With new awareness you become a more powerful observer and therefore a more powerful creator.

Mastery

The true master is not the master over others, but rather the master of self. When one attains this level of mastery, you become a natural example and therefore leader to others. Mastery is a continual journey, a constant seeking and the understanding that knowledge is anathema to true mastery.

Evolution

It is often said that the only unchanging thing in the world is change itself. Life is continuously changing, evolving, dying and being reborn. Humans who have a tendency to resist this natural flow of life will encounter often severe consequences. Resistance to change is at the heart of much pain and suffering in all areas of our lives. When we learn to embrace and flow with the eternal river of evolution, life becomes less exhausting and stressful and more rewarding. FLAME® will explore how you can flow better with this river.
