Ancient cultures have been meditating for centuries and it is only in the last 50 years that western civilisation has begun to embrace this human technology. Scientific studies, using sophisticated neural imaging scanners, now show how meditation positively affects the brain and body chemistry.
The biggest obstacles for most people meditating regularly are “not knowing how or not knowing where to start” and also being able to do it regularly.
The SOAR Institute is holding a 12 week meditation course that will equip the participant with an understanding of the various forms of meditation and also assist them to develop a consistent meditation practice.
